Our Wines
Our superb wines are produced from hand picked Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Yields are controlled to enhance quality, and our wines are only released in small quantities.
Our winery was one of only three wineries in Victoria to make the Final Taste-off for medals in both the benchmark Chardonnay and Cabernet classes at the 2002 Concours Des Vins du Victorian Wine Awards! |

Brilliant deep red with crimson hue, Whispering Hills 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon displays a lifted bouquet of deep red berries, violets and sandalwood. The palate comprises of beautifully intergrated spicy oak, enveloped by black cherries, damson plum and blackberry fruit enhanced by fine grainy tannins. The wine finishes long and even.

2004 Riesling
Medal Recipient at the 2005 International Cool Climate Wine Show.
Light straw with a pale green hue, Whispering Hills Riesling displays, very fine, intense aromas of orange blossom and freshly crushed kaffir lime leaves. The palate is equally intense and particularly long, driven by fine citrus flavours and succulent minerally mid palate richness. Well balanced in acidity this wine should cellar for up to 10 years.

2003 Chardonnay
Bright pale straw in colour, a warm dry vintage has produced an elegant and classically refined wine. The nose displays honeydew melon with citrus notes and subtle hints of cashew. Palate is rich showing lovely fruit definition with white peach and underlying toasty characters adding depth and complexity.

pH: 3.27

2004 'Audrey Mae' Chardonnay
Brilliant straw-yellow in color, the 2004 Whispering Hills Chardonnay has a bouquet of ripe lemons and citrus, with hints of cashews. A rich layered palate displays powerful nectarine and citrus flavours supported by mouth-filling mid-palate richness. A long lingering finish. |
