Welcome to Whispering Hills
Whispering Hills Vineyard was Established in 1985, and is owned and operated by Murray and Marie Lyons. The vineyard is situated in a natural amphitheatre above the township of Seville in the Yarra Valley. Our vineyard is 8 acres in size, and the varieties grown are Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Along with the original plantings in 1985 and further plantings in 1996, the construction of our Cellar Door marks a significant point in the evolution of Whispering Hills. The Cellar Door was created from an existing corrugated iron shed that once housed the tractor and other vineyard machinery. By March of 2005 our second stage will begin, as we will be extending it to make way for a new winery as well as barrel storage areas. |
